The TGCA Main Hall is the perfect place for fundraisers, company gatherings and parties, weddings, tradeshows and so much more. With over 10,000 square feet of unrestricted floor space, it’s one of the largest multi-functional community halls in Calgary and can accommodate up to 800 guests.

The Main Hall measures 148’ x 72’ and comes equipped with a 12’ x 24’ stage rising 40” above the floor.

Rental Fee

250-500 guests $1375 + tax

501-800 guests $1700 + tax

Damage deposit is equal to rental fee. Your rental fee includes the use of chairs and 3’ x 6’ tables. The hours of the rental are 10:30 am – 2:00 am. When you have signed the TGCA rental contract, paid the damage deposit and initial corkage charge, we will confirm your booking. Until such time, the TGCA reserves the right to offer its services and facilities to any interested parties.

There is a corkage fee which is mandatory for any event serving liquor and all weekend events, and there is a minimum charge for 250 people, regardless of the number of expected guests you may expect at your event.

The corkage fee includes the following: pop, juice, ice, plastic glasses, bartending staff, setup and tear down, and cleanup.

Alcohol service corkage: $4.75 per person

Non-alcohol service corkage: $3.25 per person

 

Kitchen Use

The kitchen is directly adjacent to the Main Hall, and has 2 over-sized ovens, a 6-burner range, a flat-top grill, and 1 large refrigerator available to rental events.

Option 1

Storage/Warm and Serve only, $170.

This option includes the use of the adjacent kitchen space for the storage of the food you are providing and the use of the ovens for warming only during the day’s event.

Option 2

Prepare and cook food (using base ovens only), $400.

This option offers full access to the rental kitchen facilities.

Additional kitchen options:

Deep fryer option $400 (includes ZTF oil).

All prices are subject to GST.

Rental fee and additional fees, as well as the floor plan are due two weeks prior to the function.

Prices are in effect as of Sept. 1, 2019.

 

LIQUOR Rules and Regulations

Renter supplies liquor and liquor licence and offers either a no host bar or a cash bar with the rentee retaining 100% of the profits.

In accordance with AGLC regulations, when liquor is served, hot or cold food items (prepared in a licensed facility) must be offered for patron consumption.

Liquor sales must end by 1:00 am with consumption until one hour after end of liquor service.
